DISCIPLESHIP SUMMIT | JANUARY 24TH

You are invited to attend a Discipleship Summit with Dr. Dan Barber (Global Nazarene Discipleship President) on Saturday, January 24th. It will be held at the Valparaiso Nazarene Church, 2702 E. Glendale Blvd, Valparaiso, at 9:00 am (CST) 10:00am (EST). Sessions with Dr. Barber will explore defining principles of discipleship from the past, present, and into the future with break out sessions to include pastors, adults, youth, and children as well as a Q/A with Dr. Barber. Lunch will be provided and there will be prize giveaways. Please register using the QR code below.

BABY BOTTLE DRIVE FOR LIVING ALTERNATIVES

January is "Sanctity of Human Life" month and a time to focus on the value of every life--born and unborn. We are hosting a "Change for Hope" Drive for our local Pregnancy Resource Center. We have placed empty baby bottles in the Cafe and ask that you take one and fill it with change, cash, or checks. All money that comes in will be given to the Resource Center. Winter Jam is coming up on February 6th at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indy. Cost is $15. We will leave at 4:00pm from the church. Teens, please let Pastor Eden know if you are interested in attending.

DINNER WITH JESUS | FEBRUARY 18TH

We are having an Alternative Ash Wednesday Service on Wednesday, February 18th, at 6:00pm. This is an intimate encounter with Christ that you will not want to miss as we open up God's word, consider the wisdom of those who have come before, and find grace as we travel with Jesus towards the cross.

WINTER JAM | FEBRUARY 6TH

LADIES’ & MEN’S SMALL GROUPS | FEBRUARY 1ST

Ladies' and Men's small groups will meet on Sunday, February 1st, from 5:30-7:00pm. The ladies will do a study on the Bible book of James (study handout provided). If you have any questions or if you do not have a small group and would like to be a part of one, please make sure to connect with Jenn Brooks (317-960-8270) or Stephanie Smith (765-476-6151). The men will continue studying, The Man God Uses, and meet in Room 101. Please contact Tom Pearcy, 765-650-1070, for more info or to connect with the group. The youth and Kids Camp will continue meeting and Nursery care will be provided.

PRE-SERVICE PRAYER

Join us for pre-service prayer in the sanctuary at 8:45 am and 10:45 am. We desire to be a people who humbly seek the Lord’s face through prayer, welcoming His presence in our midst. Everyone is encouraged to come, regardless of which service you attend. This is for the whole church.  Any questions, contact Pastor Olivia Droke.

TITHING 

Tithing can be done online, by mail, or you may drop off during office hours, 8:30am-noon and 12:30-3:30pm in the church drop box.

TUESDAY NIGHT CROCHET

Crochet Group meets on Tuesdays, 6:00pm-8:00pm. They will be studying the book, Women of the Word. You are welcome to join in and bring any craft you’d like to work on. Contact Peggy Droke (765-357-5763) for more info.

We are doing video announcements on Sunday mornings. If you have something you would like to include in the video, contact the Church office by Wednesday at noon; as well as with any bulletin information.

Our “Prayer Chain” consists of you receiving a prayer request and/or an all church communication message via email, cell phone text, or a voice message to your cell or home phone. PRAYER  | FEBRUARY 4TH & 11TH

Please join us in the sanctuary for prayer and worship from 6:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, February 4th and 11th. This will be prayer-room style, so feel free to sit or move around the sanctuary, sing along, or sit quietly with the Lord. We just want to make space to connect with the Lord and keep Him first love in our hearts.
