MEN’S RETREAT | SEPTEMBER 25TH-27TH

‍Men's Retreat will be held on Friday, September 25th- Sunday, September 27th at Lake Placid in Hartford City, IN. The cost is $160 and is due September 13th. There is a sheet in the Cafe to sign up. See Tom Pearcy for info.

CHILDREN ARE INVITED TO JOIN CHILDREN’S QUIZZING

‍Attention 1st-6th graders! Come learn about Moses, the plagues, the 10 commandments, and the Tabernacle! Quizzing will start August 9th during Sunday School hour studying the book of EXODUS! There is a sign-up sheet at the Children's Welcome Center or contact Jenny Stillwell with questions, 765-586-8489. ‍

CHILDREN’S QUIZZING KICK-OFF AUGUST 2ND

‍Quizzers, come meet Moses as he shares about his role in Exodus on Sunday, August 2nd, from 4:00-5:00pm in the Children's Sanctuary. Parents are welcome to attend. ‍

SANCTUARY RENOVATION | AUGUST 2ND

‍Sunday, August 2nd, will be our last Sunday to worship in the current Sanctuary. We will have an all-church help time directly following the 2nd service. ‍

WORSHIP AT THE CLC | AUGUST 9TH

‍Sunday | August 9th | 9:00am and 11:00am We will worship in the CLC for six to eight weeks and worship times will remain the same, 9:00am and 11:00am. Questions? Please call the church office. ‍

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES DURING RENOVATION

‍Adult Sunday School classes will meet in the parsonage near the playground starting Sunday, August 9th, and for the duration of the renovation. ‍

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES DURING RENOVATION

‍Youth Sunday School classes will meet in the youth sanctuary at the CLC starting Sunday, August 9th, and for the duration of the renovation. ‍

RENOVATION FUND

‍Several have asked and have already contributed to our sanctuary renovation, in addition to tithes & offerings. If you would like to give to our sanctuary renovation, please earmark your donation, “Sanctuary Renovation.” Thank you for your kindness in giving.

ACQUISITION OF LOAN APPROVED

‍The loan acquisition was approved by a 93% yes vote. This is a positive vote to move forward toward sanctuary renovation. If you have any questions regarding the loan acquisition or sanctuary renovations, please talk to Pastor Gordon or Jared Stillwell.

CHILDREN’S BACK TO SCHOOL BASH | AUGUST 1ST

‍Children’s (1st-6th grade) Bowling & Pizza! Saturday, August 1st | 3:00-5:00pm | $5 per child At Mike Aulby’s Arrowhead Bowl in Lafayette; please arrive at the church at 2:00pm and we will return around 5:45pm. ‍

PRE-SERVICE PRAYER

Join us for pre-service prayer in the sanctuary at 8:45 am and 10:45 am. We desire to be a people who humbly seek the Lord’s face through prayer, welcoming His presence in our midst. Everyone is encouraged to come, regardless of which service you attend. This is for the whole church. Any questions, contact Pastor Olivia Droke.

TITHING

Tithing can be done online, by mail, or you may drop off during office hours, 8:30am-noon and 12:30-3:30pm in the church drop box.

TUESDAY NIGHT CROCHET

Crochet Group meets on Tuesdays, 6:00pm-8:00pm. They will be studying the book, Women of the Word. You are welcome to join in and bring any craft you’d like to work on. Contact Peggy Droke (765-357-5763) for more info.

VIDEO/BULLETIN ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are doing video announcements on Sunday mornings. If you have something you would like to include in the video, contact the Church office by Wednesday at noon; as well as with any bulletin information.

Our “Prayer Chain” consists of you receiving a prayer request and/or an all church communication message via email, cell phone text, or a voice message to your cell or home phone. PRAYER ROOM | JULY 29TH

Join us in the sanctuary for prayer and worship from 6:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, July 29, August 5, 12, 19, and 26. Feel free to sit quietly with the Lord, move around the sanctuary, or sing along. See Pastor Olivia for more info.

Open Gym Basketball has ended for the season and will resume in the fall.
